]]> (Created for You Photography) https://www.createdforyouphotography.com/blog/2014/12/christmas-mini-specials Sat, 06 Dec 2014 19:15:21 GMT Ruby Isla - Lifestyle Newborn https://www.createdforyouphotography.com/blog/2014/11/ruby-isla---lifestyle-newborn I had the pleasure of working with Jon and Grace capturing Grace's glowing pregnancy and Ruby Isla's newborn session.  I just adore her names!  Grace and I began dialoging about her maternity and newborn sessions months before her first session.  I love how opened she was to ideas and helped me pick out colors and setups for Ruby's session.  After a few phone conversations, I finally met the lovely expecting parents at a vineyard for their session.   They were spectacular and very comfortable being in front of the camera that I hardly had to pose them.  Their love and admiration of one of another were evidence in all of the images. 

I am so thankful Jon and Grace allowed me to sneak in a few shots of their beautiful family of three in their own home.  Love the clean and fresh decors and all of their handmade furniture and DIY items, too!  I feel inspired since I left their home and more determined to continue offering lifestyle sessions to my future clients.  Thank you, Jon & Grace for being super awesome to work with and trusting me with your gorgeous princess!!   I am a little sad that you are moving away but I truly hope you come visit NWA often and stop by to say hello and let me capture a few images of your beautiful Ruby!!  I wish you both happiness, perfect health and constant joy raising up your daughter and all that you set your minds to do!!

Here's the meaning her beautiful name.  It fits her perfectly!!  Simcha (Hebrew, meaning joy and gladness). Evangeline (Greek, meaning evangelist).

I am so thankful I had the privilege of photographing Brody's newborn session because his beautiful Mama and I know each other a while back.  Tammy and her family welcomed me into their home with opened arms and hearts when I was a new to America 17 years ago.  They showed me the love of Christ and truly blessed me through the years with youth group and church camps.  Brody's Grandma Darla even helmed my dress for me for Senior Prom.  I love that our lives reconnected by new life.  Thank you, Tammy and Brody, for being super awesome during your session!!  You are a newborn photographer's dream.  Love you guys!!

I would like to introduce to you Miss Jayce.  She had a rough start as she was earth side, but she is one mighty warrior who had fully recovered and thriving!  Meeting her was such a precious time.  It blesses my heart as I see friends and family members showered her with so many loving words of hope and destiny.   She had brought them joy every since she arrived.  She made me go hug my babies (6 and 2) as soon as her parents walked out of my door because she reminded me how quickly they grow and are less dependent of me. 

I love every tiny detail of her newborn features!  I am thankful to be able to help capture these first weeks of life for her family to treasure forever.  I hope to watch her grow into a beautiful young lady she was called to be.  I pray the blessings of the Lord continue to be with her and every one she meets will know joy and love.

I had this bright idea of photographing our family with a camera remote control and when we finally had it all set up I learned that it didn't work.  However, the plan must go on!!!  I requested this last minute session knowing that I won't be to convince them again for a long time so I resorted to using my nifty "self-timer" and running in my heeled booths and hollering while Danner kept a firm grip on the 23 moth old!  It was a hilarious and exhausting session let me tell you!!  After a good 15 minutes of chasing Isaac down and getting everyone into place, we managed to capture a few good shots of our family of four!! 

Thank you to all my friends who keep their cool during their family sessions!!!  You sure made family portraits look easy for this photographer!!!

Christmas Mini Sessions are now being booked.  I'm thankful to be able to stay busy working on beautiful images that I only have 5 slots opened for this year's last mini's.  They are booking up fast and can't wait to show you sneak peeks!!

I am also in the process of branding my photography.  Lots of beautiful ideas are running through my mind.  I'm also blessed to have found amazing female photographers who are absolutely brilliant and don't mind sharing their wealth of knowledge.  I'm forever grateful for my Mentor Megan Eidson of Megan Eidson Photography from Dallas, TX, she had been an inspiration and never hesitates to encourage and teach.

I am thankful for my beautiful clients who I call friends.  They make me want to be a better photographer each and every day!  I am just so thankful to begin my 30th Birthday doing something I absolutely love!!
